Letter: Time for all abortions to end
By Tom and Pat Wallace, Worthington
It is estimated that from 1960 to 2013, abortionists have aborted 2,235,700,000 babies worldwide. Yes, as an estimate it could be less, but it also could be more.
A report published in 2012 by the Guttmacher Institute, a research firm Planned Parenthood uses, reported a total of 1,212,400 babies were aborted that year here in the U.S. Their data was obtained by a direct survey of abortionists.
Along with supporting abortion, Planned Parenthood also supports sex education for preschoolers. (Refer to the Tools for Parents page of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America website and plannedparenthood.org.) The New York Times and The Washington Post both rejected four cartoon images. The cartoons were considered “shocking” and “too graphic.” These four cartoons were from Planned Parenthood’s own websites and social media.
The website plannedparenthood.org advises parents to answer in detail when preschoolers ask difficult questions. Shocking cartoons and graphic answers are evidently considered by Planned Parenthood as acceptable sex education for preschoolers.
On April 26 — the day following Planned Parenthood’s national conference — our president spoke at an early morning gathering of conference attendees. He spoke of quality health care, health centers and health clinics that Planned Parenthood provides. Absent from his presentation was any mention of the abortions that Planned Parenthood also provides.
In closing, he thanked them for the remarkable work they are doing providing quality health care, and that they have a president who will be fighting with them every step of the way. He also asked God to bless them and America.
We sincerely hope God’s blessing will change hearts and minds — and abortions will be no more.
