WORTHINGTON -- Janet Smid is a four-year cancer survivor. She's also an avid quilter since retiring from full-time work more than a decade ago.

This spring, Smid made a quilted wall hanging using the phrases from the "What Cancer Cannot Do" verse and pieced together a keepsake she intended to hang on the wall of her Worthington home.
