Lyon sheriff announces two arrests
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Lyon County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 21-year-old male on burglary and sexual assault charges.
Kyle Eugene Wilkerson, no permanent address, was arrested Wednesday in Rock Rapids and was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of third-degree sexual abuse, both Class C felonies.
Wilkerson is accused of entering a home on two different occasions in the middle of the night with the intent to commit sexual assaults. He's also accused of committing a sexual abuse on a victim in a home he entered in February.
Wilkerson is being held on $10,000 bond in the Lyon County Jail.
In a separate release dated Wednesday, Leonard Michael Doiel, 18, of Rock Rapids, was arrested June 19 on the charge of third-degree sexual abuse. Doiel is accused of committing sexual abuse June 19 in Rock Rapids. He is also housed in the Lyon County Jail.
Both investigations were conducted by the Lyon County Sheriff's Department.
