Marcia Emogene Arnold, age 99, (life long goal to make it 100 years) was born on February, 22 1915 in Worthington, the daughter of Andrew and Violet (Saxon) Johnson. She grew up in Worthington and graduated from Worthington High School. She then attended Macalester College in St. Paul where she earned a bookkeeping degree. Marcia was employed by Louis Moeller, CPA. She married Lyman (Bill) Arnold on June 28, 1940 at her parents' home in Worthington. Marcia enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was a long time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she played organ and piano. Marcia was a member of the Eastern Star and the 20th Century Club. Marcia died on Sunday, June 08, 2014 at the Crossroads Care Center in Worthington.

Marcia is preceded in death by her husband Lyman, her twin sister Earla and her parents Andrew and Violet.

Funeral services will be at 2pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Benson Funeral Home Chapel in Worthington with Pastor Raymond Larson officiating. Burial will be at the Worthington Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Connie Sutherland-Breuer, Sandy Langland, Margaret Burns, Lorri Bristow and Cindy Penning.

Visitation will be from one hour prior to the service.
