Marco announces Wisconsin purchase

WORTHINGTON — Marco Inc., a leading technology services provider in the United States, has announced its purchase of Northeast Photocopy Company Inc. (NEP), a copier and printer company located in Appleton and Green Bay, Wis. The 38 employees from NEP have joined the Marco team.

Marco currently has offices in Eau Claire, La Crosse and Madison and has over 800 employees throughout its 35 locations nationally. The purchase allows Marco to expand its technical expertise and services in the state of Wisconsin.

“We look forward to continuing NEP’s commitment to satisfying their clients and providing opportunities for their valued employees,” Marco CEO Jeff Gau said. “This acquisition supports our national growth strategy and will also allow us to expand our business IT services to their clients.”

Marco’s growth has also required the company to move to larger facilities over the past year in Fargo, N.D.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Des Moines, Iowa. The new regional hubs accommodate the company’s increase in employees, customers and services offered in these areas.

NEP has been in business for more than 50 years and serves over 1,600 customers.

“I am proud to be associated with Marco and helping bring them into the Northeast Wisconsin marketplace,” said Nora Schulz, President of NEP. “Their culture and customer satisfaction mirrors that of NEP, and their presence will greatly enhance the technological growth of the area.”
