MPR to make tower repairs

WORTHINGTON — Work will begin Wednesday on the Minnesota Public Radio tower serving Worthington MPR News station 91.7FM and Classical MPR station 89.3FM to replace the ice-damaged structure.

The work will require both stations to go off the air temporarily while this work is being done. Both stations should be back on the air by Thursday. Work on the tower is contingent on weather conditions.

During these repairs, listeners are encouraged to stream shows and breaking news at mpr.org.
