New road work projects begin today, Tuesday in Worthington
WORTHINGTON — The City of Worthington Engineering Department announced Thursday that sanitary sewer spot repair along South Shore Drive is tentatively scheduled to begin today.
Seventy-foot repair in front of 1645 S. Shore Drive will be the scope of the project.
Work is continuing on 10th Street improvements that began July 15. American Disabilities Act curb ramp work began at First Avenue and is progressing toward East Ninth Avenue.
Additionally, street improvements on First Avenue Southwest began Thursday. Bituminous paving will cover the gravel base from east of the Prairie Elementary entrance past Schaap Drive to near Pleasant Avenue. Starting Tuesday, bituminous cold milling from west of Knollwood Drive to the Prairie Elementary driveway will take place.
Water main reconstruction is also continuing in Worthington, as work is ongoing on Park Avenue from West Oxford Street to West Clary Street.
