No one hurt in Kenneth barn fire

Four firefighting units were dispatched to a rural Kenneth barn fire reported at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday. “When we got there, smoke was coming out of the roof — it was totally involved,” Lismore Fire Department Chief Jim Weidert said Thursday night. “We more or less just let it go and protected the outbuildings.” Firefighters from Adrian, Magnolia and Luverne were called for mutual aid, Weidert said. There were no injuries and no livestock on the farm, he added. Alex Purdy/Daily Globe1 / 2
