Nobles County Fair begins next week

WORTHINGTON — The 135th Annual Nobles County Fair begins Monday with the 4-H Dog Show at the Hockey Arena.

More livestock shows get under way Wednesday with the dairy, rabbit and sheep shows. This year the fair offers a Boomer Nights celebration Thursday evening as well.

A full schedule of events follows:

Monday

9 a.m.: 4-H Dog Show

Tuesday

9 a.m.-2 p.m.: Pre-fair judging of all 4-H non-livestock exhibits; entry of all open class

9 a.m.-noon: Livestock interviews

Wednesday

11 a.m.: 4-H Dairy Show, followed by Open Class Dairy and District Dairy

4 p.m.: 4-H Rabbit Show

6 p.m.: 4-H Sheep Show

7 p.m.: Tractor Pull in the grandstand

Thursday

8 a.m.: 4-H Swine Show

10 a.m.: 4-H Exhibit Buildings open

10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Senior Days

Noon: Commercial Buildings open

2 p.m.: 4-H Poultry Show

4 p.m.: 4-H Goat Show

5 p.m.: Boomer Nights

6 p.m.: 4-H Pet Show

7 p.m.: 5th Annual MK 5K Run and Family Fun Walk

Friday

8 a.m.: Beef Show

10 a.m.: Commercial and 4-H Exhibit Buildings open

4:30-6 p.m.: Ribbon Sale Dinner

6 p.m.: 4-H Ribbon Sale in Olson Arena

7 p.m.: Demolition Derby in the grandstand

Saturday

Kids Day at the Fair

10 a.m.: Commercial and 4-H Exhibit Buildings open

Noon: Premier Showmanship

2 p.m.: Tri-State Beef Show

7 p.m.: Endurance Race in the grandstand

Sunday

10 a.m.: Inspirational service

Noon: Commercial and 4-H Exhibit Buildings open

Noon: Horseshoe tournament

1 p.m.: Kid’s Pedal Pull
