LUVERNE – A Luverne man died Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle rollover in Rock County.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Rock County Ambulance, Luverne Fire Department and the Minnesota State Patrol, were contacted about a rollover crash at 8 a.m. Tuesday on 110th Avenue, one-half mile south of Rock County 8.
The driver, Dale Pick, 59 of Luverne, was northbound on 110th Avenue. Pick drove through a snowdrift on the gravel road, causing him to lose control of the propane truck, which is owned by Eastern Farmers Union of Brandon, S.D.
The propane truck rolled several times, and Pick was ejected from the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Rock County Sheriff, Pick was not wearing his seatbelt, and it did not appear that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
