Panthers pummel Eagles

TRACY -- With 23 hits between the teams, the Panthers made the most of their plate appearances to pull out a non-conference baseball victory over the Eagles Saturday afternoon.

Alex Jones earned the victory on the hill for the Panthers, giving up four earned runs on 11 hits while striking out eight and walking none in six innings of work.

Charlie Dunnick suffered the loss for the Eagles, giving up six earned runs on 12 hits. Dunnick struck out six and walked none over six innings.

David Schmidt was 2-for-3 with three RBI for T-M-B, while Derek Dolan and Anthony Dolan each went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Brett Dumke was 3-for-4 with a trio of runs batted in for Windom. Tim Nagorske was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, while Lukas Gotto was 2-for-3.

Windom visits Marshall today for a doubleheader.
