The Cardinals, trailing by two runs, had runners on second and third with no outs in the seventh frame. But Dunnick induced a comebacker to the mound and allowed an RBI sacrifice fly before getting the game-ending out on a grounder.

The senior allowed three runs -- one earned -- on two hits while walking four and striking out six in a complete-game effort.

Ryan Gilbertson and Joel Riordan each went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Drake Borsgard added two hits in three at-bats for the Eagles (9-10, 5-7), who will travel to Heron Lake on Tuesday to face Southwestern United in their regular-season finale.
