Prep boys soccer: Southwest Christian shuts down Central Christian

EDGERTON — Six different players scored goals for Southwest Christian as the host Eagles defeated Central Christian 6-0 in a high school boys soccer game Friday night.

The Eagles scored twice in the first half and four times in the second.

Senior Jace VanderMaten scored Southwest’s first goal, and Colby DenHerder scored again before halftime.

In the second half, Jeremy VanderWoude, Dayton VanHulzen, Jordan Ward and Luke Nibbelink scored.
