Prep girls basketball: Cheadle helps Fulda top W-WG
WESTBROOK — Junior guard Sariah Cheadle scored 33 points — close to half her team’s total — and the Fulda High School girls basketball team defeated host Westbrook-Walnut Grove Thursday night, 71-48.
Melissa Gehl added 17 points for the Raiders in the non-conference game. The victors led 30-17 at halftime and never looked back as they saddled the Chargers with their second loss in as many games played.
Elizabeth Woelber tallied 16 points for Westbrook-Walnut Grove while teammates McKenzie Deprez, Mady Johnson and Emma Woelber each added eight. Dayna Comnick helped the cause with 16 rebounds and six blocks.
