EDGERTON — Southwest Minnesota Christian routed Fulda at home Thursday night in high school volleyball action with set scores of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-8.

On their Senior Night, SWC was led by Brooke Mouw, who led the Eagles with seven kills. Alexis Knutson led with 13 digs. Ann Pater had four ace serves, going 15-16 serving. She also had nine digs and two solo blocks. Setter Sydney Esselink had 18 set assists for the Eagles.

The Raiders were led by Myah Holinka. Holinka had seven digs and five kills. Millie Piper had four set assists for Fulda, and Alli vanden Bosch was 9-11 serving with two aces.

MCC 3, H-BC 0

HILLS — Visiting Murray County Central swept Hills-Beaver Creek 3-0.

Set scores were 25-13, 25-12 and 25-10.

For MCC, Lindsey Barritt and Kristi Bose led with 9 and six kills, respectively. Jade Giese had 14 set assists, and Hannah Schmidt had 16 digs.

For H-BC, Kelli Esselink and Madison Fick had four kills apiece. Megan Westrum had eight set assists, and Jessica Sandbulte had seven digs.

MCC is now 11-2 overall.

Redwood 3,

Luverne 1

LUVERNE —Luverne lost 3-1 to visiting Redwood, with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-22.

Setter Ashley Olson had 26 set assists for the Cardinals. Ellen Dahl was 19-19 serving with an ace, and Erica DeBoer was 14 of 14 from the line. Lexi Rust led the Cardinals with 33 digs, followed by DeBoer with 30.

Dahl, Rust and Paige Baker all had 11 kills apiece for Luverne, and Amanda Barnhart had 18 block assists, and six solo block assists for the Cards.

Luverne is now 8-8-2 overall.

Adrian 3, Edgerton 1

EDGERTON — The Adrian Dragons took on Edgerton at home and won 3-1.

Set scores were 25-19, 23-25, 25-16 and 25-21.

Shelly Loosbrock and Sydnie Weiss had three aces apiece for the Dragons. Corey Reckamp and Eilizabeth Thier had 12 and eight kills, respectively. Weiss had 30 set assists for Adrian, and Reckamp had 18 digs.

For Edgerton, Jordyn Smit led serving with three aces, going 14-16 from behind the line. Mia Wassink had eight kills for the Flying Dutchmen, and Tanner Gunnink had seven. Mandie Peterson and Cody Bouw had three digs apiece.

S-O 3, G-LR 0

GEORGE, Iowa — Sibley-Ocheydan beat George-Little Rock on their home court 3-0.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-15 and 25-13.

For S-O, Kaylee White had 22 set assists. Bridget Doeden had 10 kills, two block assists and one solo block. White was also 20-20 serving, with four aces. Michaela Wolter was 16-16 serving, with two aces. Wolter also had 16 digs, and Kayla Ackerman had 9 digs.

S-O’s record is now 14-12.

H-LP 3, C-W-L 0

LAKE PARK, Iowa — Harris-Lake Park thouroughly routed Corwith-Wesley-Luverne with set scores of 25-3, 25-12 and 25-10.

Outside hitter Kathrine Ihnen was the H-LP kill leader with eight. Nichole Rowe led the Wolves with seven set assists, followed by Mikaela Heikens, with six. Grace Heikens had three digs for H-LP, tied with Sarah Kruger.

Sheldon 3,

Boyden-Hull 0

SHELDON, Iowa — The Sheldon Orabs took on Boyden-Hull at home and swept them 3-0.

Set scores were 25-20, 25-16, and 25-23.

Sheldon was led by Jessica Van Beek with 18 kills, followed by Marti Vogel, with 9. Setter Sami Kleinwolterink had 31 set assists. Kayla Johnson led the Orabs with 16 kills, and Van Beek had 14. Jena Van Marel had three solo blocks.

RRC 3, MLA 0

JEFFERS — The Red Rock Central Falcons trounced visiting Mountain Lake Area 3-0.

Set scores were 25-24, 25-19 and 25-14.

Cassy Erickson was a perfect 12-12 from the service line for RRC, adding an ace. Brooke Rasmussen had two aces, going 11-for-12 from the line. Mel Kedl was a perfect 12-12. Erickson had eight kills, and both Rachel and Mel Kedl had six kills apiece for RRC. Olivia Bitner had 15 digs for RRC, and Mikaela Smith had nine digs and 20 set assists.

For MLA, Mikayla Falk was 13-14 serving with three aces. Signey Stoesz was 13-14 from the line, also with three aces. Jordan Syverson had nine kills and Kaylee Wolle had six kills and two blocks. Falk also had 33 digs, and Rachel Dukes had 25 set assists.

SWU 3, W-WG 1

WESTBROOK — Visiting Southwestern United beat Westbrook-Walnut Grove 3-1.

For SWU, Courtney Place led with 24 kills. Place also had seven blocks and 14 digs. Haley Schumacher had 36 set assists. Rachel Mathias was 21-21 serving, with three aces. Andrea Hinkeldey was 25-26 with three aces, and Autumn Hinkeldey was 20-21 with six aces, and she also had 16 digs.

SWU was led on its Kids Kourage night with five aces, 19 kills, and 16 digs from senior Dayna Comnick. Comnick earned her career 1,000th kill on the night.

SWU is now 18-4-1 overall, and 9-0 in the conference.
