Ramona Bunge

Ramona Bunge died peacefully at her home with family present. Ramona was born in Adrian, North Dakota to Herb and Anna (Ziegenhagen) Heinrich. Ramona attended Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota, where she met Herman Paul Bunge. They were married in 1947 and were blessed with 4 children. They lived in Jamestown and Dilworth, North Dakota before moving to Worthington, Minnesota in 1953 where they raised their children. Ramona’s legacy includes her children, Byron (Janelle) Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, John (Kathy), Marshall, Minnesota, Michael (Debra) Delta, Colorado, and Cheryl Tyler (Stephen) Brooksville, Florida, 6 grandchildren, Nicole, Lisa, Jacob, Julia, Christopher, and Kara, and 4 great grandsons, Ray, Gus, Ben, and Davis and many other relatives, friends, “adopted kids” and neighbors. Ramona, “Mona”, or RB as some called her, was a spirited person, Christian mother, creative florist (RB’s Flower Basket), COTA (Certified Occupational Therapists Assistant), and conscientious community member. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Anna Heinrich, her siblings, Gertrude and George, and her husband, Herman Bunge.

A private burial was held. A memorial celebration service will be held at American Lutheran Church of Worthington, Minnesota on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sanford Hospice, or a charity of your choice. Heartfelt thanks to friends and to Sanford Hospice for compassionate care and support.
