Daily Globe advertising staff members Paula Byers (from left), Chandra Carlson, Jessica Holinka and Leigh Simpson pose with the hundreds of flip flops collected as part of the Daily Globe’s culture initiative. Employees were asked to donate flip flops for distribution during the Worthington Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival. Free flip flops in a variety of child and youth sizes will be handed out to children from 1 p.m. until gone on Saturday inside the Daily Globe tent on Sailboard Beach.
