Rosa Lee Ingenthron

Rosa Lee (Kruger) Ingenthron was born April 17, 1957 in Worthington, MN. She joined her Heavenly Father on July 22, 2014 after a courageous battle against ovarian cancer. Cancer may have taken her life, but it never defeated her. She kept trusting and clinging to her Lord, knowing He would NEVER leave her nor forsake her. She is now more alive than she has ever been!

Rosa graduated from Worthington Senior High in 1975. While at Worthington Community College, she started working at City Hall. What began as a work study job, became a lifelong career. She remained at City Hall until her retirement, thirty plus years later. She knew every street in town and the history of most properties in town. She married the love of her life, Casey Ingenthron, on August 7, 1982 at American Lutheran Church in Worthington. She and Casey were inseparable. They shared a love most people only dream of sharing.

Rosa had two children, Cody, 27, and Toni, 25. She devoted herself to her family and treasured their times of traveling, camping, hiking, biking, fishing, cross-country skiing, rock climbing, gardening, and just being together.

Rosa was gifted with a beautiful voice and shared her gift at every opportunity. As a member of The Other Side, a traveling Christian music group, she was able to combine her love of singing with the opportunity to tell others about her Savior. She sang at numerous weddings, funerals, band concerts, special events and was a member of the Chamber singers for years.

Rosa will be remembered for her big laugh, big heart, eyes that smiled, her unwavering faith and her unlimited capacity to love. She would find no greater joy than to be reunited with each of you. She would remind you of John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Rosa was preceded in death by her baby brother, Ronald, her grandparents, Chris and Gertie Van Hal, and Tony Kruger and Sadie Kruger Huls. She is survived by her husband, Casey Ingenthron, children, Cody and Toni, parents, Sid Kruger and Martha (Van Hal) Kruger, brothers, Ricky and Randy Kruger (Lanette Carnahan), sisters, Roxanne (Scott) Bergman and Rhonda (John) McGinley, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at the American Lutheran Church in Worthington, MN, with Pastor Gary Andersen and Pastor Jeff Hicks officiating.
