Windom ends its season at 17-11.

Eagle freshman Madison Maras finished 20-for-21 with four aces, and senior Rachel Sorensen chipped in a team-best 18 kills.

Senior Kelsey Hanefeld slammed 15 kills and senior Miki Bolin had 35 set assists.

Windom junior Jasmine Carlson paced her team with 32 digs and Hanefeld collected 17.

“Our kids worked hard this season,” Windom Area coach Ron Wendorff said. “I was a little disappointed in our inconsistencies at times.

“In the third set tonight we got a little unfocused,” he said. “That’s how it goes in volleyball sometimes. We got beat by a good team tonight.”

LCWM is the second seed in the tournament’s south section. Windom Area was the No. 3 seed.
