WORTHINGTON — The Southwest Crisis Center will offer a 40-hour sexual violence training for interested volunteers, interns and community members on the first two weekends in March.
Stopping sexual violence is a community-wide endeavor. All staff and volunteers who provide sexual assault advocacy services in Minnesota are required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of training on sexual assault.
The training will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 1-2 and March 8-9 at the Southwest Crisis Center, 920 Diagonal Rd., Worthington. There is a cost, which covers snacks, lunch and materials for all four days.
