SMOC seeks taxi service proposals

WORTHINGTON -- The Nobles County Joint Powers Transit Authority is accepting proposals at Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council (SMOC) until 10 a.m. April 11 to provide taxi service to persons in the city of Worthington and Nobles County.

Proposals shall be directed to the Nobles County Joint Powers Transit Authority, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside of the envelope "Attention: Taxi Proposal." The authority reserves the right to reject all proposals.

Copies of the Request for Proposal are available at: Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council Inc., 1106 Third Ave., P.O. Box 787, Worthington 56187.

Prairieland Transit System staff will publicly open proposals immediately following the expiration time. The authority will consider proposals during its April 18 meeting.
