Star Tribune honors AgStar, Marco as top workplaces
MINNEAPOLIS — AgStar Financial Services has been named one of the Top 100 Workplaces in Minnesota based on an employee survey conducted by the Star Tribune.
The Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section was published June 15. For the third year, AgStar Financial Services was ranked in the top 10, taking the fifth spot on the large employer list this year. This year marks AgStar’s fourth time being recognized as a top employer in the state.
“AgStar is honored to be selected as one of the top places to work in Minnesota,” said John Hemstock, senior vice president of brand and talent strategies at AgStar. “Being recognized with such a respected group of top employers in the state is certainly a testament to our goal of creating a highly engaged team with a culture focused on collaboration.”
In addition to being recognized as fifth in the Top 100 Workplaces survey, AgStar was specially recognized for their training programs because team members singled out the organization for their efforts.
“Being recognized by our team for training programs made this recognition incredi-bly impactful. It’s evidence of AgStar’s commitment to career development and growth. We believe investments in our team members are some of our most valuable business decisions” said Hemstock.
Additionally, Marco Inc. has been named one of the Top 100 Workplaces in Minnesota for the fifth consecutive year.
