Incident reports show the vehicle was actually reported in the lake at a boat landing before it was reported stolen.

A silver car by the dock was reported at 7:34 p.m., and the motor vehicle theft was not reported until 9:33 p.m. A Swift employee reported the theft to security.

A few minutes earlier, an officer had been informed of an open door at a mobile home in Sungold Heights trailer park.

According to Cumiskey, keys had been taken from a trailer, the vehicle was stolen from the Swift parking lot, then dumped in Indian Lake.

The vehicle had to be towed from the lake, but the extent of damages is unknown at this time.
