Alyssa Elaine Hesemann and Jeffrey Kenneth Taplett were married Sept. 29 at Brookings Wesleyan Church, Brookings, S.D., with the Rev. Steve Norby officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dale and Mary Hesemann, Lakefield, and Michael and Susan Taplett, Huron, S.D.
Maid of honor was Amanda Hesemann. Bridesmaids were Arianna Hesemann, Molly Baumgard, Kaycee Headrick and Krysten Anderson. Person attendants were Jerrice Taplett and Kari Eiachker. Flower girl was Halle Stenzel.
Best man was Patrick Taplett. Groomsmen were Patrick Mach, Chase Merfeld, Bo Johnson and Andrew Hesemann. Ushers were Sean Sieler, Matt Skinner, Paul Gile and Evan Krech.
Music was provided by Dale Hesemann, Andrew Hesemann and Krysten Anderson. Readers were Kena Rezac and Ken Taplett.
The reception was at the Swiftel Center, Brookings, with Jeff and Jill Dvorak and Diane Henke hosting.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of South Dakota State University, Brookings. She is currently a student in the veterinary medicine program at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
The groom is a 2011 graduate of South Dakota State University. He is employed as a registered nurse in the surgical department at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames.
They live in Ames.
