Tarbet joins Medical Center
SLAYTON -- Murray County Medical Center has announced that Joyce Tarbet has joined the staff as an orthopaedic surgeon.
Tarbet graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She earned her doctor of medicine from Queen's University. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at McGill University, Montreal, and a fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
Tarbet is an accomplished sports medicine physician. She was head physician for eight years for the U.S. Women's National soccer team and is a member of the U.S. Soccer Medical Advisory Board.
"My goal as the new orthopaedic doctor at Murray County Medical Center is to deliver the highest level of performance to every patient I see, regardless of age or mobility," Tarbet said in a press release.
She provides services for a broad range of orthopaedic problems, including foot and ankle surgery, upper extremity surgery, arthroscopy, trauma, fracture repair, arthritis treatment, joint replacement surgery and sports medicine.
