Task force investigation leads to six arrests

SHELDON, Iowa -- Six people were arrested Monday in the culmination of a nine-month investigation into the illegal sales of controlled substances in Sheldon.

Officers from the Sheldon Police Department and Iowa Department of Corrections, acting as members of the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force, made the following arrests:

Brian Deago Ramsey, age 42, was arrested at his place of employment in Sheldon. Ramsey was charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine.

Carlee Diana Ramsey, age 43, was arrested at her place of employment in Sheldon. Ramsey was charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine and one count of delivery of cocaine.

Shawn Michael Rooney, age 35, was arrested at a Sheldon residence. Rooney was charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine.

Erin Wynn Rooney, age 39, was arrested at her residence in Sheldon. Rooney was charged with one count of delivery of methamphetamine.

Macheal Ranae Koenck, age 47, was arrested at her residence. Koenck was charged with three counts of delivery of methamphetamine.

Brian Keith Gadberry, age 43, was arrested at his place of employment in Hospers, Iowa. Gadberry was charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine.

All the subjects were transported to the O'Brien County Jail, where they are each being held on $10,000 bond.

An investigation in these cases is ongoing and additional arrests are likely.
