Thier scores 1,000th career point to lead Adrian
TRACY -- Scoring 13 points Friday night, Adrian's Erica Thier scored her 1,000th career point to lead Adrian to a 68-33 victory in the T-M-B girls' basketball Holiday Tournament.
Their also had five assists and five steals.
Karli Meyer had a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Dragons, while Katy Slater had 16 points and seven rebounds.
Sam Lynn added 11 assists for Adrian, which will face Red Rock Central in the championship today at 1:30 p.m.
For the Panthers, Roxy Ryan scored six points and had four rebounds, while Shay Lanoue had five points, four rebounds and five assists. M'Hesi Haugen had four rebounds, three assists and three steals for T-M-B, which will face Wabasso in the third-place game today at noon.

TRACY -- In the first game of the T-M-B Holiday Tournament, Red Rock Central overcame a balanced Rabbit scoring attack to claim the nine-point victory.
Ashley Fennern scored a team-high 18 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Wabasso, while Andrea Rohlik (14), Tori Altermatt (13) and Morgan Samyn (11) each scored in double figures.
For the Falcons, Krystle Sell scored 19 points, while Stephanie Maras added 16 points.
Cierra Nickel and Thea Engen (eight rebounds) each scored nine points on the night.

EDGERTON -- Alyson Drooger scored a game-high 22 points to lead Edgerton past Hills-Beaver Creek in a Red Rock Conference game Friday.
Drooger added eight rebounds and five assists for the Flying Dutchmen (2-2, 2-2).
Kelsey Wolthuizen scored eight points, while Racheal Steffl had eight rebounds. Katie Hadler added five assists for Edgerton, which will host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Jan. 6.
Jayme Plimpton scored 11 points and had five assists for H-BC, while Emily Kruger scored eight.
The Patriots will travel to Hurley, S.D., Monday.

LUVERNE -- Three different players scored in double figures to lead Luverne to a non-conference victory against Ellsworth.
Liberty Robinson scored a team-high 13 points and had five steals, while Kayla Raddle scored 12 points and had nine rebounds.
Callie Sawtelle scored 10 points, while Katlyn Sawtelle pulled down nine rebounds.
For Ellsworth (2-4) Andrea DeBoer scored 14 points, while Brooke Kix added 11.
Luverne will travel to Murray County Central Tuesday, while Ellsworth will host Lincoln HI the same night.

SLAYTON -- Colleen Everson scored a game-high 20 points to lead Murray County Central past Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin in a Red Rock Conference game.
Abby Van Meveren scored 14 points and had seven rebounds, while Alyssa Schmidt scored 11 points, had six assists and six steals for the Rebels (2-2, 4-2).
Emily Bose scored eight points and had 12 rebounds and six blocks, while Kate Robinson added eight points.
Brittany Wenner scored six points for the Wolverines, while Megan Svalland and Karen Herrig each scored five points.
MCC will host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton tonight before hosting Luverne Tuesday night.

ROUND LAKE -- Katie Gransta led the Quasars with an 11-point, six-rebound effort as Southwest Star Concept improved to 3-1 in Red Rock Conference play and 4-3 overall.
Erica Post (eight points) also had six rebounds for the Quasars, who play against Cedar Mountain-Comfrey Monday night in a tournament in Comfrey. Luanna Henkels (nine points) contributed four assists, and Maddie Collin had three steals, while Michaela Rasche scored eight points.
April Wallace led Round Lake-Brewster (1-3 overall and conference) offensively with 10 points, while Karen Schmitz chipped in with seven points and a game-high 11 rebounds. RL-B next faces Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin in a holiday tournament Monday in Mountain Lake.

WINDOM -- Bailey Bouman scored 27 points to lead the Pipestone Area Arrows to a comfortable victory over Windom Friday night.
Megan VanderPoel (14 points), Brooke Woelber (11 points) and Bree Woelber (seven points, seven assists) were among the other leaders for the Arrows, who led 47-11 at halftime.
Makenzie Lovell led Windom with nine points.
