Toddler involved in ATV accident

A 2-year-old boy was injuried in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle at 1 p.m. Wednesday in rural Adrian.

According to information provided Thursday morning by Nobles County Sheriff Kent Wilkening, some children were riding four-wheelers at the Dale Bullerman farm on Dillman Avenue when an ATV flipped over and pinned the toddler underneath it.

The boy was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center, but was later airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D., for further treatment of breathing problems.

No condition report was available on the child.
