LUVERNE -- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, along with the Brandenburg Prairie Foundation, will unveil three new informational kiosks in a 10 a.m. ceremony Tuesday at the Touch the Sky Prairie, northwest of Luverne. The event corresponds with National Wildlife Refuge Week.

Wildlife photographer Jim Brandenburg will talk about the Touch the Sky Prairie, how prairie has been an integral part of his personal and professional life, and how that led to the establishment of the Brandenburg Prairie Foundation.

Following the ceremony, attendees will have a chance to explore the prairie with Brandenburg and Fish and Wildlife Service staff.

To reach Touch the Sky Prairie, follow U.S. 75 north from Luverne for 4.5 miles, then turn left on 171st Street and follow for 2.75 miles. There is a parking area at the top of the hill.
