The Cardinals scored a 129.025 to take second place and only placed one gymnast in the top four of the four events during the competition.

Paige Kinley took first place in three events and finished with 35.7 points to claim first in the all-around. Maria Contreras took second with a 34.35, while Anna Koepsell placed third with a final score of 33.75. Whitney Jensen rounded out the top four in the all-around with a 32.025 for the Trojans.

"It was an awesome night for everybody," Trojan coach Joni Reitmeier said. "We were hitting our spots on every routine."

Kinley started off the night taking first place in the vault with a 9.3, followed by Maria Contreras in second place with a 9.225 and Liz Hayenga in fourth with a 9.125.

Kinley also took first in the bars, scoring an 8.7 in the event. Stephanie Jaycox scored a 7.95, which was good enough for second, while Koepsell and Contreras shared third place with a 7.8.

"We did really awesome today, but we had a few more falls on the beam than I would like to see," Reitmeier said. "We need to get rid of those falls."
