Two Minnesotans face many charges
SPENCER, Iowa -- A Pipestone woman and Iona male were arrested in Spencer last week on numerous charges.
Kayla Fuller of Pipestone was arrested after the Spencer Police Department's receipt of information from a local business about an allegedly forged check. The checks were reportedly taken from a residence from Pipestone County. Fuller was subsequently located during a traffic stop and placed under arrest for the forged checks, the Spencer Daily Reporter said.
Anthony Pistachio of Iona, described to police as Fuller's boyfriend, was later arrested at a Spencer hotel and arrested on Minnesota charges of terroristic threats, domestic assault and violation of a no-contact order. A search warrant for the hotel room led to the discovery of drugs -- including marijuana and meth -- drug paraphernalia and weapons, according to the newspaper report.
Additional investigation resulted in charges against Fuller and Pistachio of theft in the first degree, drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, forgery, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of an offensive weapon, theft in the second degree and interference.
