Finishing just behind first-place finisher Waconia, Worthington wowed the crowds with its "Mary Poppins"- themed "Over the Rooftop" parade show, receiving the coveted People's Choice Award as well. Other bands participating included the Mankato 77 Marching Lancers, Park Center Pirates, Owatonna, Henry Sibley, St. Peter, Winona Cotter, NRHEG and Lake City.

The Trojan band placed fourth overall (in judging point totals) out of the 10 bands participating.

After marching Saturday evening in the Fulda Wood Duck Festival parade, the WHS band (under the direction of Jon Loy) will resume its 2013 parade season in September.
