Widboom to face Benson in Nobles County District 3 Commissioner election

WORTHINGTON - Matthew Widboom's name was drawn from a hat in a 10 a.m. meeting of the Canvassing Board Friday to break a tie in the District 3 Nobles County Commissioner race.

Widboom will now face incumbent David Benson, who earned his spot on the ballot for November's election Tuesday night, following the results of the Primary election. Widboom and fellow candidate Robert Paplow each received 100 votes in that election.
