Brief: K-9 fundraiser supper tonight

WORTHINGTON — A pork chop fundraiser for the new Worthington Police Department K-9 unit will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Elks Lodge, 1105 Second Ave., Worthington. The meal is being prepared and served by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Men’s Auxiliary.
The K-9 fundraising efforts have brought in about $9,000 so far, with a goal of $30,000.
