Services: Gerhard Gustav Berger

Gerhard Gustav Berger, 93, of Jackson, died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Surviving are three children, Harlan (Judy) Berger, Mankato, Norman (Mary) Berger, and Evonne (David) Vilhauer, Sioux Falls; two brothers, Freemont (Betty) Berger, St. Louis, Mo., and Amos (Anne) Berger, Owensville, Mo.; three sisters, Talitha Berger and Vasthi Hilkerbaumer, both of St. Louis, and Adella Mueller, Hermann, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Gayle Titus.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Osterberg Funeral Home, Jackson, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church, Jackson.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church, Jackson, with the Rev. Eric Hullstrom officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
