Patriots edge RL-B and SWC in Red Rock triangular (golf wrap-up)
WORTHINGTON — In a neck-and-neck boys’ golf meet, the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots beat out both Southwest Christian and Round Lake-Brewster to win a Red Rock Conference triangular Thursday afternoon at the Prairie View Golf Links.

The Patriots finished with a 187, edging RL-B (188) and SWC (189).
H-BC’s Andrew Scholten carded a 43 to pace the Pats. Caleb Ellingson was second best for H-BC with a 45, while Austin Rauk and Caleb Schroer shot 48 and 51, respectively.
Eric Bourquin’s medalist round of 41 led the RL-B golfers. Tim Haberman carded a 47 on the day, while Cole Baumgard was third with a 48. Craig Correll completed the Raiders’ team score with a 52.
The Eagles were paced by Dustin Oberloh and Kaiser DeKam, who shot 45 apiece. Philip Feikema turned in a 49, and Brandon Huisken shot a 50 to round out the Eagles’ team score.
Luverne 179, PA 206
LUVERNE — Dylan Skattum shot a 44, and three other Cardinals (Skyler Hoiland, Ben Nath and Dan Hup) shot a 45 to lead Luverne past Pipestone Area.
PA’s Tate VanRoekel shot a medalist round of 43, while Aaron Koslowski (53), Jon Lanholz (55) and Stephen Genzler (55) rounded out the scoring.
Girls Luverne 193, PA 214
LUVERNE — Krista VanDyk medaled with a round of 45 to spark Luverne past Pipestone Area.
Missy Olson (48), Kaia Nowatzki (50) and Jessica Dorhout (50) also contributed to the winning score.
Kayla Nelson led PA with a round of 50. Katherine Newhouse and Lynn Nelson each shot a 53, and Bailey Walters fired a 55.
