Obituary: William "Bill" Davis

William "Bill" Davis, age 80, of Worthington, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the Worthington Regional Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1928, on a farm at Terril, IA to parents Everett and Eunice (Swale) Davis.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lola, Worthington; one daughter, Toni Alm,

Reading; and one son, Steve (Jackie) Davis, St. Cloud; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert and granddaughter, Christianna Alm.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Worthington. The service will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Orde officiating.

Burial of the cremains will be at a later date at the Worthington Memorial Garden Cemetery.
