WORTHINGTON — Minnesota West Community and Technical College recently recognized outstanding students at its Academic Awards Banquet.

Outstanding Agriculture Student: Nate Knoblach of Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Biotechnology Award: Brittany Wiener of Fulda.

Computer Science Award: Rita Christanson of Granite Falls.

Cultural Diversity Awards: Thi Synavone of Worthington, Christine Vogel of Slayton and Jason Pflaum.

Good Student Writing Awards: Melinda Osland of Westbrook and Bill Grefe of Butterfield.

Human Services Awards: Jocelyn Laverman of Ocheyedan, Iowa, and Sara Pederson.

Law Enforcement Awards: Kayla Hietbrink of Worthington, Dustin Roemeling of Edgerton, Justin Derickson of Windom, and Matthew Teerink of Worthington.

Leadership Award: Marie Pavelko of Worthington.
