Brief: International Festival seeks flags

WORTHINGTON — In celebration of the International Festival’s 15th anniversary a special opening ceremony is being planned.

WORTHINGTON — In celebration of the International Festival’s 15th anniversary a special opening ceremony is being planned.

Community members are asked to carry a flag from their country of origin in the parade of flags to kick off this year’s festival. The opening ceremony is at 5:30 p.m. July 11 at the Nobles County Government Center lawn.

Anyone who has a large flag and would like to participate in the ceremony should call the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce at 372-2919.
