Brief: Jackson County 4-H offers Day Camps

JACKSON — The University of Minnesota Extension Office and 4-H Program of Jackson County are offering four Day Camps this summer.

JACKSON — The University of Minnesota Extension Office and 4-H Program of Jackson County are offering four Day Camps this summer.

A Captain Clover’s Pirate Adventure will be from noon to 5 p.m. July 1, at the North City Park in Lakefield (Immanuel Activity Center, Lakefield, in case of rain).

The 4-H Beach Bash will be from noon to 5 p.m. July 8, at the Heron Lake City Park (Heron Lake Community Center in case of rain).

A CSI: Clover Squad Investigator Day Camp will be from noon to 5 p.m. July 11, at Sandy Point Park, rural Lakefield (Immanuel Activity Center, Lakefield, in case of rain).

The Wild West Round-Up will be from noon to 5 p.m. July 22, at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.

A variety of activities are planned at each of the camps, including crafts, games, snack and fun.

Camps are for all youth, not just 4-Hers, in Kindergarten through third grade. Transportation will be provided for the campers, if needed.
