Adrian scores Legion victory over Edgerton

EDGERTON — Four visiting players had multiple hits Tuesday night, as the Adrian American Legion baseball team captured a 13-1 victory on the road over Edgerton.

Brett Nowotny was 3-for-3 for Adrian, while Adam Diekmann, John Archer and Joey Bertrand each had two hits. Jordan Reker slugged a two-run home run.

Bertrand tossed three innings to pick up the victory before Diekmann hurled the last two innings.

DJ Berning took the loss for Edgerton. Marty Van Peursem had two hits for the home team.
