A Drinking Water Resources & Agricultural Field Day will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29 at the new Red Rock Rural Water System Treatment Plant site south of Jeffers.
JEFFERS — A Drinking Water Resources & Agricultural Field Day will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29 at the new Red Rock Rural Water System Treatment Plant site south of Jeffers.
Participants will hear from state and local professionals about water treatment processes and groundwater protection efforts at the new Red Rock Rural Water Treatment Plant site and will take tours and visit a variable rate nitrogen test plot to hear about the new on-farm Nutrient Management Initiative Program.
The public is invited to attend.
