SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Lewis & Clark Regional Water System’s Board of Directors last Thursday awarded the contract for Phase 1 of the Water Treatment Plant to Foley Company of Kansas City, Mo.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Lewis & Clark Regional Water System’s Board of Directors last Thursday awarded the contract for Phase 1 of the Water Treatment Plant to Foley Company of Kansas City, Mo.

Construction on the $20.8 million project is planned to begin this fall.

The first phase includes a three million gallon water storage reservoir, high capacity pumps, electrical switchgear building and standby generators.

Phase 2 is slated to begin in mid-2009 and will include the main water treatment plant. Completion for Phase 2 is scheduled for mid-2012.
