Services: Helmer Wing

Helmer Sevron Wing, 93, of Jackson, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Jackson Good Samaritan Center.

Surviving are four children, Dr. Elton (Linda) Wing, Slayton, Ardith (Jerome) Palmer, Jackson, Jurene (Leo) Hovinga, Glenwood, Utah, and Vernon (Maureen) Wing, Boise, Idaho; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Osterberg Funeral Home, Jackson, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Lutheran Church, near Bergen.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Steve Norby officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, Christiania Township, Jackson County.
