Brief: Relay team to host milk the goat contest
Event set for today and Saturday at Nobles County Fair
WORTHINGTON — The Daily Globe Relay for Life team will be raising money for the American Cancer Society’s 2009 Relay for Life today and Saturday at the Daily Globe booth at the Nobles County Fair. The booth is located next to the grandstand.
The public is invited to “vote” for the person they want to see milk a goat by dropping their quarters in the jars of this year’s five volunteers.
Among the unlucky contestants are Publisher Joni Harms, Arla Engelkes from circulation, Pam Erwin from advertising, Julie Buntjer from the newsroom and Nate Einck from graphics.
