Letter: Thanks to Nobles County's RSVP

On Monday night, I helped serve meals at an event. We served somewhere between 160 and 180 meals to this particular group. This number represented around half the number of people who volunteer in Nobles County with the Retried Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

This group volunteers at many different places and logged more 40,000 hours of service in 2007. I know they have blessed the Y Pals program and the YMCA as mentors and volunteers. I just want to tell them, “Thank you for all you do.”

I also wanted to encourage those of you who are retired and not yet involved in RSVP to contact Joanne Bartosh and get involved. Worthington and Nobles County is blessed to have such a group of people who continue to serve others into their golden years.
