Several hurt in crash

WORTHINGTON — The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle accident at 5:20 p.m. Friday on Minnesota 60.
Jennifer Ackerman, 32, of Sibley, Iowa, was driving a 2003 Chrysler van when she swerved to the shoulder to avoid a slow moving vehicle and the vehicle slid across both lanes of traffic. Phon Nakhornsak, 52, of Worthington, was driving a 1990 Dodge Caravan and this vehicle struck the back of Ackerman’s vehicle.
Ackerman and four passengers were treated for minor injuries. Nakhornsak also received injuries in the accident.
