H-LP wins Okoboji vb invitational
OKOBOJI, Iowa — With three victories Tuesday at the Okoboji volleyball invitational, the Harris-Lake Park Wolves finished first with an undefeated record. H-LP (3-0) defeated Spirit Lake, 21-16, 19-21 and 15-7, in the first match before defeating Okoboji 21-16, 21-16 in the second match. In their third and final match of the day, the Wolves edged Graettinger-Terril 21-19, 10-21 and 16-14.

H-LP (3-0) defeated Spirit Lake, 21-16, 19-21 and 15-7, in the first match before defeating Okoboji 21-16, 21-16 in the second match. In their third and final match of the day, the Wolves edged Graettinger-Terril 21-19, 10-21 and 16-14.
Defensively, the Wolves had 41 blocks as a team. Jena Peters had 12 blocks, while Laura Rowe had 11 blocks and Rebecca Hibma had seven.
Rowe led H-LP with 12 kills, while Deni Peters and Leah Elsbecker each had 10 kills.
Peters led the Wolves with five aces on 26-for-27 serving, while Jenna Van Iperan also had five aces on 28-for-29 serving. Rowe had 19 set assists, while Jodi Hibma had 17 set assists.
Elsbecker had 26 digs, while Jena Peters added 21 for H-LP, which will travel to Round Lake-Brewster Saturday.
PA 3, SWC 1
PIPESTONE — Rachel Tinklenberg and Megan VanderPoel combined for 25 kills to lead Pipestone Area to a victory against Southwest Christian Tuesday in a non-conference volleyball match.
Tinklenberg had 14 kills, while VanderPoel added 11 more as PA won, 25-15, 24-26, 25-17 and 26-24.
Jeena Lentz was 22-for-24 serving with four aces and had 25 set assists.
Brooke Henderson had three service aces and added nine digs.
Emily Larson added eight kills, while Amber Haupert had 14 set assists for the Arrows (3-0).
For the Eagles (1-1), Angie Vermeer had six kills and 37 digs, while Jada Vander Veen led SWC with nine kills. Kara Van Dyk was 21-for-21 with two aces serving.
PA will host Redwood Valley Thursday, while SWC travels to Fulda the same night.
Windom 3, RRC 0
WINDOM — With a balanced attack, the Windom Eagles stayed unbeaten with a sweep of Red Rock Central Tuesday.
Alicia Norby had eight kills to lead Windom (3-0), while Trista Hacker and Abby Lund each had six for an Eagle team that defeated the Falcons 25-18, 26-24, and 25-16.
Morgan Borsgard was 7-for-8 serving with three aces, Allison Nau (team-high 13 digs) was 12-for-13 with a pair of aces, while Courtney Ysker added a trio of ace serves.
Megan Ysker had 13 set assists for a Windom team that will host Marshall in a key Southwest Conference match Thursday.
For the Falcons (1-2), Abby Halter and Alyssa Fredrickson each had six kills, while Halter added eight digs, for a RRC team that will host H-BC Thursday.
Krystle Sell had 11 set assists and eight digs, while Cierra Nickel had six assists, 11 digs, and was 11-for-13 serving with seven points and three aces.
