FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota Parole Board has denied parole for convicted child killer Kyle Bell on child molestation charges unrelated to the 1993 death of 11-year-old Jeanna North.

The board denied Bell parole on felony charges of gross sexual imposition and use of a child in a sexual performance based on the seriousness of the offenses, according to Pat Bohn, assistant parole board clerk.

Bell is now no longer eligible for parole on those two charges, which stem from the molestation of two young girls, and has already finished serving out his sentence on another gross sexual imposition charge.

Bell’s next opportunity for parole will be heard during the November 2050 hearing on his 1999 conviction for North’s murder, Bohn said.

He received a life sentence for the murder conviction.
