SLAYTON — A traveling museum that chronicles the experiences of prisoners of war in the Midwestern United States will be at the Slayton Public Library from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday.
“Traces” is a 40-foot school bus converted into a mobile classroom and museum.
On display will be narrative panels with photos, documents, artifacts and more. New to the exhibit, organizers are urging visitors to share their own stories, letters or other “traces” of the families’ direct encounters with German POWs during World War II.
For more, call the library at (507) 836-8778. The Traces Web site is www.traces.org.
